There can be a significant difference between how people want to act and how they actually act. For instance, everybody wants to be healthy, but making healthy choices can be challenging. Through knowledge of behavior we can better understand how this is possible and how we could change this. As an economic psychologist I am fascinated by decision making and I'd like to contribute to research and policy that lead to more sustainable living.
Making others experience what the behavioral perspective can offer excites me every time.
