Sandwich for 28 euros: ‘We’re being ripped off on outings’
Algemeen Dagblad wrote an article following our study “The Price of Togetherness: An Investigation into the Costs and Benefits of Social Activities.”
In this study, conducted among a representative sample of the Dutch population, we examined how often people participate in social activities, what they think they spend on them, and how they experience spending more than intended. Both positive aspects (such as social connectedness) and negative aspects (such as financial worries) of social activities that involve costs were also mapped.
